UN 2030 agenda for sustainable development
Starting with "This Agenda is a plan of action for people, planet and prosperity." the UN 2030 agenda for sustainable development was developed in 2015 and entered into force on the 1st of January 2016. It was drafted by the world leaders as a plan to end all forms of poverty, fight inequalities and tackle climate change, while ensuring that no one is left behind. To achieve this it has established a set of 17 Sustainable Development Goals. Countries are expected to take ownership and establish a national framework for achieving the 17 Goals.
