'''G7''' has expressed an acceptance towards usage of energy supplies as a mean of political coercion or as a threat to security of European citizens. Moreover, energy security has to be at the centre of the European political agenda. G7 encouraged to develop competitive energy markets, diversify the energy supply, to reduce greenhouse effect, to promote deployment of clean and sustainable energy technologies, to promote infrastructure modernisation as well as to put in place emergency response systems in case of possible disruptions.
