Venture capital (VC) is a form of private equity provided by firms or funds to small, early-stage, emerging firms that are deemed to have high growth potential. Venture capital can very often result in the funds a company needs to truly get off the ground and meaningfully grow.

Europe has a large and growing number of venture capital funds.
