Prosumer

Prosumers are hybrid of producer and consumer, as the name suggests, acts in both ways. Interconnected households equipped with solar panels, can generate or transform energy and induct it into the network. This recent development does not only mean that citizens are increasingly taking over ownership of energy policy issues, but it also enables strategies of more decentralised supply.
