The European Investment Fund (EIF) is a fund that says of itself 'we support Europe’s SMEs by improving their access to finance through a wide range of selected financial intermediaries.'[1]
The EIF is of paramount importance to European SMEs growing as it provides funds that are often not available merely through traditional finance.
